About the Artist

From an early age, Sergio loved creating art—carving, drawing, and painting—and spent his teenage years exploring the Victorian coastline, where he found inspiration in the sea and nature. After studying architecture for four years, Sergio followed his creative passion and enrolled in an Art and Design course.

In 1979, he opened a pottery studio in Victoria. He later moved to New South Wales and then Sydney’s Central Coast, where he set up a studio and gallery in 1997. Over time, his focus shifted to painting, drawing inspiration from nature and faraway places. Sergio’s art captures the beauty and tranquillity he finds in the world, using paint, pastel, and mixed media to share moments of joy and wonder with others.
