ARTIST ENQUIRY — DEPART GALLERY

Thank you for your interest in exhibiting at Depart Gallery.

Please review the following information regarding exhibition opportunities. If you wish to proceed with a submission, kindly send your bio and links to your website, Facebook, or Instagram to departartgallery@gmail.com.

 

We offer two options for exhibiting:

1. Represented Artist (Invitation only)

  • Depart Gallery represents your work and takes a 25% commission on all sales. An additional 10% goes to GST

  • No additional fees or charges.

 

2. Gallery Hire (Self-Managed Exhibition)

Choose from the following space rental options:

  • Standard Exhibition (approx 20% gallery space):
    • $8500 per week
    • $1290 per fortnight

  • Large Exhibition (approx 40% gallery space):
    • $1290 per week
    • $2490 per fortnight

  • Full Gallery Exhibition (80-90% gallery space:
    • $2790 per week
    • $4990 per fortnight

Key details:

·       Depart Gallery’s Point of sale terminal and Credit card facilities are provided.

·       10% commission, and 10% GST is taken on sales made during your exhibition if the gallery’s POS system is used.

·      We include promotion via Depart Gallery’s email campaigns and social media (Facebook, Instagram) during your exhibition week.

·      The gallery supplies a professional hanging system

·      Gallery support and logo for promotional materials

·      Whilst gallery staff may be present, the artist is responsible for manning the gallery during your exhibition.

·      The gallery must be open during standard hours:
Tuesday – Friday: 10 am – 6 pm, Saturday: 10 am- 4 pm

·      You may open outside of these times, including for your own opening drinks event.

·       If you sell works by our Resident Artists, you’ll receive a 10% commission on those sales.

·      50% deposit required to secure your booking.

·      You are responsible for maintaining a high standard of presentation.

·      Artists must create their own printed invitation for gallery display (to be supplied the week before the show), as well as manage their own social media and personal promotions.
